Extra-Tall Cherry Tree Cage

At last you can finally get to taste those home-grown cherries! Our extra-tall Cherry Tree Cage is just about the biggest available and it's perfect for keeping those pesky birds off your cherries, just as they ripen. With a footprint of either 2m sqaure or 2.5m square and a height of over 3.2m you can be sure your tallest fruit trees will be protected.

The fruit cage framework is made from high-strength (Z35) pre-galvanised tube, with an outside diameter of 25mm x 1.5mm wall thickness. The joint components which we use to assemble the Extra-Tall Cages are our own unique design and, to ensure consistent quality, are manufactured by Robinson Polytunnels.



Our Chery Tree Cage benefits from an additional mid-rail for stability and support of the netting.

Knitted anti-bird netting manufactured from high density polyethylene has a mesh size of 17mm and is UV stabilised and rot-proof. The netting is secured to the framework with cable ties and stapled to the ground with our 150mm galvanised steel ground staples. The ground staples can be easily removed so you can gain access to harvest your ripened fruit whenever you like.
